The Craft Center has an assortment of sewing machines, tools, irons and ironing boards available for members with sewing experience to use. In addition, there is a fully functional screen printing studio, including: a t-shirt printing press, a light box, screen washout sink, and a screen reclamation tank.

Learn the ancient craft of handweaving, creating a beautiful scarf or tea towel on one of our many table looms. Students will learn to wind a warp, read a pattern, sley a loom and weave off a project.Attendance at first three class sessions is mandatory; integral training and start up information is presented. Anticipate $5-12 materials cost for yarn, depending upon materials a project.

Learn to repair your clothes and lengthen the life of your wearable wares! In this 4-hour workshop, we will learn basic visible hand and machine mending skills for patching, darning, seam-ripping and repairing, buttons, zippers and more! Bring your own clothes that need fixing or come and learn while helping others fix theirs! Mending supplies provided. Show up with hole-y clothes and go home with a one-of-a-kind, handmade demonstration of your resourcefulness and handiwork.
