Printmaking Classes

In the Printmaking studio: with 2 etching presses and carving/inking tools available, as well as a fully functioning screen printing studio, we've got your printmaking needs covered! Studio Orientation Required, inquire at the Front Desk.

Please come in with some experience in Screen Printing in order to use the studio. You will need an Orientation, available during tech times or by special arrangement. Water based studio ONLY. Low cost materials & supplies are available on site.

Linoblock Printing

Fridays 3-5 April 12 - May 17

OSU fee Paying Student Class Fee: $65

Non-student Class Fee: $125

Instructor: Aspen McCallum (they/them)

Create a unique personalized stamp using linoleum relief printmaking technique. In this 6-week class you will be guided through carving techniques as you explore lino block printing through several projects including a pattern piece, a larger self-guided print and a smaller print exchange using rubber blocks.

Intro to Screenprinting with Sarah

Mondays 6:30-9 April 15 - May 6

Instructor: Sarah Powell

In this 4-week class learn how to screen print your own designs. you will earn the essential steps from design planning, screen preparation, image transfer and printing on fabric with water-based inks.One T- shirt will be provided along with one screen rental for the term. Walk away with the experience of printing your own design at the Craft Center and ideas of how you could set up your own home print studio.
