The OSU Craft Center Ceramics Studio is designed as a welcoming, functional community space. There are 13 electric wheels, including a wheel chair accessible wheel. The studio also has a kickwheel, handbuilding space and a range of handbuilding supplies, wedging tables, a slab roller, a pug mill, and an assortment of high fire glazes. The Craft Center Manager and two student clay techs keep the studio running and the kilns firing.

Looking for a fun, easy way to make lots of cool pottery pieces for your dorm or apartment? Try Slab building! We’ll make mugs, bowls, plates, pencil holders, wooden spoon holders and more! You can even carve your own unique design into a rubber stamp to personalize your pieces. Much easier than wheel throwing and you’ll end up with lots of pottery
