Woodworking Classes

The intro classes are designed to get you going on safe use of the big equipment while making a fun project. We also offer specialty classes and wood turning on the lathe.

 

Students can sign up for Winter 2024 Classes on Jan. 8th            Staff, Faculty, and Adult Public can sign up starting Jan. 15th

Intro to Woodworking with Noah

Mondays 5:30-8, Jan. 22 - Feb. 26

Fee Paying Student Class Fee: $70

Non-student fee: $135

 Be guided by a talented & skilled woodworker as you learn to safely operate the large pieces of equipment in the woodshop. You will construct a beautiful lidded box that is not only useful, but will give you a solid foundation in fine woodworking. Materials included.

Build a Solid Body Guitar with Noah

Thursdays 3-5:30  Jan. 25 - Feb. 29

Fee paying OSU Student Fee: $250 (includes kit)

Non-student Class Fee: $325 (includes kit)

Using a quality guitar kit, you will be guided by an experienced luthier as you apply basic wood working techniques to build and assemble a Fender style guitar. Leave with a great sounding, ready to play electric guitar.

Beginning Latheworking with Niko
