The Craft Center Wood Studio has offerings for members at multiple levels. At the general access level, after completing an orientation members with experience may use hand tools, including: drills, jigsaws, palm sanders, and more. If you know how to use the large equipment, pass the SAW and the quiz, then you can use the hand tools as well as the following: 2 band saws, a miter saw, 2 Saw Stop table saws, a Grizzly planer, a jointer, drill press, lathe, and a router. In addition, the studio offers Tech Hours, during which a wood tech is available to help you make a cut, plane a board, etc.

SAWS and general orientations are available during our tech times, (SAWS are by arrangement) or by signing up for a special SAW below.

*Use of large equipment entails a $20 lab fee, due at time of being cleared by a SAW.

Wood level from Spring term will carry through into Summer.
